Weight Loss Without Dieting Journals: Beginning My

I'm famous for trying this or that. When I was a teenager - and, even well into my thirties, I could eat all I wanted. In fact, I could drink a couple beers and lose up to 6 pounds in one night. I could eat only ice cream and oreos and lose 5 pounds in 2 days. I could eat cottage cheese and potato chip (yes, it's really good – thanks, dad, for making me at least try it!) and easily lose 4 pounds in 3 days. However, fast forward - to today - I eat one little thing and now I see my stomach swell ... instantly! A little background about me … I'm a 41 year old mom of 2 remarkable teenagers. I'm approximately 5′6″ tall and I weigh approximately 173 pounds – at 2:35 p.m. since we all know that time makes a difference on weight – lol. My ideal weight is 126 pounds. I haven't had time to keep up with exercise in the past few years because ... let's face it … life just gets too busy and exercise is always the last thing on our minds!!! So, here I am – I just turned 41 a couple of short months ago. I've got the normal love handles, saddle bags, and cankles (at least by the end of the day, anyway, from the water-weight and swelling).
